If you have found a problem with Beyond Compare, we would like to hear from you!
From the main Folder Viewer window, select Support from the Help menu, and follow the instructions to produce a report of your program and system settings. Paste the report in an email to us, and include a description of the problem.
You may want to include a screenshot that illustrates the problem. If you do, follow these steps to make one small enough to email:
1. | Press ALT+PrintScreen to place a snapshot of the current window on the clipboard. |
2. | Open the Microsoft Paint program (Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint) and press CTRL+V to paste the image. |
3. | Select the part of the image that you would like to send. |
4. | Pick Copy To from the Edit menu, change Save as Type to either 16 Color or 256 Color, and enter a filename. |
5. | If possible, use a zip utility to compress the image file. |
6. | Attach the image file to your email to us. |
